Like marks on a bedpost

By the way, the pic isn’t of my ankle. Look… I thought I would be able to get through the year relatively scot-free where it comes to surgeries… but luck wasn’t in my favor. Well I guess it would depend on if I go through with it or not. So I go to the foot and ankle specialist this morning. My right ankle/foot needed a bit more looking into since the prp session. Granted the…

Originally posted 2017-07-03 14:02:58. It’s summer time, I have a small garden with many potted container plants and they need tending to on a daily basis. So, along with that comes your body sometimes not wanting to roll out of bed. We are thinking of getting some sort of backyard pool to help me with physical fitness/exercise to put less stress on the body while doing so. The down side is well, Dusty. He can swim.…

Chronic Living

Originally posted 2022-02-24 09:00:45. Living with someone with Chronic Pain/Illness. Everyday is a struggle. You have to sit back and witness the person you love in pain, often with no solution, no answers, and no end in sight. It’s never ending doctor’s appointments. It’s watching them lose everything, including their hobbies, their happiness, and their joy. It’s waking up in pain, not knowing if it’s going to ease or get worse. It’s having to get…

Isn’t funny how dating when you’re married can be 30 minutes of a quick bite on the way home from doctor’s appointments… Yep that was our “date night” yesterday.Quick but enjoyable. The food was lacking but the quick conversion was all that mattered. We had to stop by Lowe’s home improvements to get a few things. Then Cicis pizza was in the lot next door so we quickly decided to go knowing…

My Ketamine Experience

Originally posted 2022-02-02 09:13:00. My day started like a normal day… The dogs waking me up at zero dark thirty harmonizing their barks and howls creating what they thought was the next top ten song on the charts… I was instructed to make sure I hydrated in order for them them to find my veins easily lol. Plus I don’t want my veins collapsing in the process, lol. I have had them do that numerous…

May or may not

Originally posted 2022-01-31 09:00:25. Shop gifts for every occasion at Groupon So I saw the oculoplastic surgeon that performed my tear duct bypass. The swelling in my face and around my eye was minimal compared to the first few days. It’s like I did a stay at home/DIY ballooning of my sinuses 🤣. My momma had the balloon thing done a couple of times to her sinuses since she had chronic sinus issues. I haven’t…

Second Infusion

Had my second infusion this morning. I figured I would be ok to drive myself afterwards so I didn’t ask anyone for help. Wellllll…. maybe I should have. The infusion went without a hitch. Only issue was there was someone doing maintenance in the building and the guy was doing something to the bathroom ceiling and when he did he created sheetrock dust. That sheetrock dust went all over the toilet, toiletpaper, etc. I didn’t…

One-eyed Willie

Originally posted 2022-01-12 09:00:19. I feel like I look like One-eyed Willie from The Goonies. I’m home from my tear duct bypass surgery from yesterday. From what I remember I only had one issue. My blood pressure. It was upwards of 180 over 100 something and they couldn’t get it down. I was hurting so I imagine that’s the culprit. They gave me more medicine in my IV twice and still didn’t budge my blood…
