I don’t think in my upwards of 40 surgeries I’ve seen my scars or sutures peel like this.
I have put some of my Miracle Oil on it twice a day in hopes it lessens their appearance.
The pain is definitely improving from the beginning.
I have to wear a boot when I am up and around (which to be honest ain’t much).
My boots have airbags š¤£.
The turn dial (A) switches the control of each airbag on either side of the boot.
The pump (B) inflates each airbag.
I find that a very good improvement from the last time I had to wear these boots.
Which of course was 1999 time frame when I crushed the bones in my ankle and lower right leg.
My husband has already gone back to work so I have had to rely on Dusty alot lol.
My husband gets home and figures out what to cook.
Thankfully we found a new airfryer at Sam’s Club the last appointment I had at the surgeon’s office.
It was $40 off! Win, win!
I spend alot of time in my bedroom, which I have never really done before (except for surgery recoveries).
I normally get up when my husband did and did the normal letting dogs out, coffee, dog meds and my meds.
Thankfully, he has been doing all that recently.
Took him a bit to figure out the washer and dryer settings since I have always done that.
Our eldest dog, Max, is 17 years old and can’t really hold his pee so we have a collection of dog pampers that need washing on a daily.
But with him having dementia I wouldn’t expect anything different. He has definitely lived a longer than most life for a dog. He has lived double the life of my Chewy (miss him like crazy).
I have used the disposable ones but found they didn’t stay on him very well.
The one thing that sucks is the smell of urine seemed to linger til I found an enzyme I add to the washer that helps remove the scent.
Overall, everything is improving.
I go back in a couple weeks for another xray and I think he will have me start physical therapy at that point.
I know I am not ready for it but gotta do what I gotta do.
Pain meds will definitely be my friend š
