What the… knee?
Originally posted 2019-08-30 07:35:48. Ughh… what’s the deal with knees in this house?! Chewy’s other leg/knee had something shift yesterday. I think it’s possibly the metal pin in there because it is common for the pins to dislodge. His other leg/knee did the same thing just pushed way out,almost pushing through the skin. Since it’s not pushing through the skin and he is still walking semi-normal we have an appointment Tuesday. Let’s hope it stays…

Chewy still having issues. He is being extremely picky where his food is concerned. I cooked him some beef liver and he was eating it at first. Then yesterday I took a poop sample to the doc office for them to check out. I told them he still wasn’t eating. They gave me more nausea meds for himbas well as some food that is designed for dogs that they need to get food in them.…

What day is it?
Chewy is still off and on about eating. It almost seems like his stomach hurts and he only eats when he gets hungry hungry. The vet’s office called me yesterday and told me his labs had come back. He is mildly anemic but they aren’t sure why yet. The urine hasn’t come back yet so maybe that will give some answers. He has a sedated xray scheduled for Monday morning. So I am going to…

Chewy not eating
Not sure what is wrong with him. I know he is likely hurting and he is on his medication. When we fed the dogs this morning everyone ate but him. I even put the food topper on it, still nothing. I did get him to eat his probiotic and an immune boosting treat but he won’t touch his food.

They had their veterinarian appointment yesterday and got their shots, rabies, etc. Bowie (aka heavy chevy ) still has some growing to do 😳 it’s crazy that he is 10 pounds lighter than Chewy it’s hard to believe.
