I had an appointment with a massage therapist yesterday.
This is the second time I have seen this therapist.
She worked on alot of areas but also worked on the massive amount of scar tissue in my abdomen.
This is pretty much the first time someone has been able to “hit” the areas where the scar tissue is built up.
When I have to give myself my weekly shot I have to go to the sides of my kangaroo pouch to find a spot for the needle because anywhere else will bend the needle.
I have a referral in to see a plastic surgeon to see if someone can remove all of it.
It hurts to lie flat on my stomach because it seems like it’s pushing against my spine. Not to mention not being able to wear anything that is just a big snug because it presses against it too.
I know I have mentioned before that I haven’t been able to wear a normal pair of jeans or pants in over 20 years.
I have to wear pants, shorts, etc with elastic waistbands because it puts too much pressure on my stomach causing it to push against the scar tissue then that pushes against my spine. 🤷♀️
Hopefully, fingers crossed somehow, somewhere, someone, one really talented plastic surgeon can remove it and I can wear a normal pair of pants!
Plus no longer bend needles 🤣
