This surgery seems to start off a bit different.
Now… this may be too much info but majority of my netheregions is purple.
This is what I have to sit on to be semi comfortable.
I didn’t realize I needed to relive having a monthly cycle. π©
I have cramps without the rest of it.
I’m not exactly sure why I have cramps.
I mean they moved my bladder I get it but the cramps are more in my pelvic area.
I haven’t had a monthly in so long when they told me could bleed upwards of a month I didn’t know what to buy.
So… my ass ended up buying postpartum diapers, always discreet undies, and 2 different sized pads π€£.
I’m pretty sure the lady that delivered my order thought I just had a baby because I purchased a bunch of pop-tarts for my son too.
I have to get up and pee every 2 hours to keep my bladder from expanding.
Then on top of all of this I had an appointment with my gastro doc yesterday.
I waddle in to find out he needed to do a scope on my esophagus. π€¦πΌββοΈ
So now, this Friday, I am scheduled to get a scope on my esophagus.
Needless to say I didn’t really need to take this ibuprofen right now. π³
I have to stop taking it 5 days prior to the scope so technically today is my last day taking it.
On a side note, I got to “almost use” this cool thing I didn’t know they even made.
It’s a gown made by 3m that hooks up to the machine in the last picture.
If the patient is hot or cold they can plug the hose into the gown via hole (2nd picture).
Then they can turn the machine on to whichever temperature the patient desired.
I unfortunately never got a chance to use it.
But I sure as hell wanted to.
I just thought it was cool.
For now my happy ass gets to sit on this here donut and try and relax.
The medication the surgeon injected into every place he worked on (Exparel), started wearing off already.
I have to leave the bracelet on til tomorrow per hospital instructions. It’s just in case I needed to seek medical attention and they would know what I had.
It sure did help while it lasted.
Off to diaper land βοΈ
