I don’t know whether to be thankful or be pissed.
You see on Friday my husband called me just before he lost signal at work. Where he works on the compund he for some reason does not get a signal. So most days I don’t have contact with him
Now I could call the office and have someone go find him in an emergency but otherwise I don’t bother texting him.
We he called me he told me the truck, suburban, oil pressure gauge was acting wonky at the light when he was just waiting for it to turn green. We had just had the oil pump replaced less than a year ago.
Maybe more like 8 months or so.
So now red flags are going up for me because we just had this shit fixed. On top of that less than 6 months after the oil pump was replaced I had noticed some oil leaking on our driveway.
So I naturally took it back into the service department at my local Chevy dealership. The gasket on the oil pan had failed due to a defective part (or so we were told) and they had to replace it.
Now they tell me that oil is leaking around the same areas as before but also 2 additional places.
This makes me think it was either their workmanship or the parts but I just don’t know.
I am currently waiting on the service advisor to call me to let me know what the extended warranty company had to say as to the new areas leaking.
I have been meticulous when it comes to fixing stuff on my truck.
If you didn’t know you can pull up a carfax report with your vehicles vin number and see what all service/maintenance had been done to your vehicle (as long as it was logged).
Now that this has happened once again I just can’t but wonder if it’s on purpose…
Then within seconds of them sending me the video of what they saw, I got another text telling me my truck was in high demand and they wanted to give us an offer for it.
We have told them numerous times that we were not interested in selling it but I guess in their minds then it never hurt to keep badgering them over the head…
What do you think?
Check out what’s in store!
