The town we live decided to start being an ass not too long ago for some reason.
They either don’t like interracial couples, want my house and my bff’s house, are complete dicks, or I don’t know what else.
They have put a “tow warning ” sticker on 3 vehicles in our yard.
One is our daughter’s boyfriend’s car, one is my husband’s dually (truck that caught of fire lol), and other is the antique impala of my bff’s.
We think what is happening is they are trying to make it like an HOA but not have one. There is a neighborhood they are trying to build between ours and one behind ours. We do know they will have an HOA. They would have to use our street as a go through street to access their neighborhood.
So we think they want it all to look the same/similar to that one. We don’t have an HOA and most folks in our neighborhood didn’t want one and the fact we don’t was one reason why alot purchased here.
Another thing is someone that moved here ( a transplant ) wants the code enforcement job. One of the police officers told us that.
So that just added a shit ton of things for my husband to do on top of helping me, dealing with Dusty when I can’t, the normal household things like cooking, laundry, and last but not least…the dogs.
I am praying he can get my “son-in-law’s” car going because they actually need it.
They came down like month ago to get the girls after we had them for the weekend and they were going to drive it back home. Well…the car had other plans.
We weren’t sure what the problem was that day so they went back home without it.
As I type my husband is outside working on it trying to get it going again. He already replaced the fuel pump and are hoping that is the only problem keeping it from cranking up and running.
Fingers crossed it’s not the fuel filter too because that car has to be raised up higher off the ground to be able to access the other side of the fuel filter assemply.
I asked another resident in our neighborhood to come check it out for me. I just don’t know if he thought I meant for free. I wouldn’t ask him to do that for free knowing how much of a pain it has been on my husband. I mean it’s a freaking BMW so they are more difficult that per say our Chevy.
I don’t want to stress my husband out the entire time he is off work which was supposed to help me.
As of today he has 4 days left I think it is to get them “removed” as the sticker stated.
We aren’t sure why in fucking hell they want them removed. Or was i just moved we aren’t sure.
It’s just a fucking pain in the ass.
