Medical history short stories

Originally posted 2017-08-24 10:44:51. Don’t you hate it when you get your average medical history form and you’re instructed to list your surgeries and hospitalizations and you don’t have enough room to list the things up until your 20’s…mind you you are currently 44 years old. My husband just says to write small, lol. I’ve had around 22 (wait 23) surgeries at this point so listing them is one thing. Trying to remember them all…

Recognizing signs of child’s anxiety

Originally posted 2017-08-19 14:39:16. My son has anxiety. It is far more than just a bit of worry that can be soothed away with some reassuring words of encouragement. It plays a big part in his life, and it is important we take it seriously. His worries seemed to grow as he was growing up. But at the time we didn’t realize all the different behaviors we saw were driven by his anxiety. And the more…

Epidemic proportions

Originally posted 2017-08-06 21:29:30. If you have read my blogs in the past you are familiar with the cause of death of my brother. They gave him Benadryl and had him pretty much on bed rest. Since his character was a doctor they went through the belongings of service members…

I know this is not that bad. My momma did pay more for her glasses. Good thing is my diabetes has not affected my eyes yet. 10 days or so til my new glasses come in. Gotta love aging 🙄😏

Just waiting for them to call and set up the appointment for that. I feel like I’m gonna glow by the time…
