Just one of those days…

Yesterday evening I broke on of my back (upper molars).

This happens after business hours ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

Today I have a medical procedure already scheduled.

So my day started like this…

6:30am โ˜€๏ธ “The Rooster Crows” The White Pit Bull Bowie, who also seems to think he’s a rooster and starts howling when the sun comes up…

From 6:30 til 7ish Bowie is walking around aimlessly.

7ish “The Coercion” Bowie is coerced back into the kennel with a treat from their Supechewer treat box, so I can let other dogs back in.

7 ish til 8 I am watching my watch like an Eagle watching its prey.

This all occurred on Wednesday except for the tooth breaking which happened on Tuesday… now return to the story ๐Ÿ˜‰

8:01 I call the dentist

I explained I somehow broke my tooth the day before.

They tell me to be there at 10, agreed.

I go to a friend’s house to check on and feed her cats while she’s away.

8:19 Get back in car and notice I got a voice-mail.

I call it back to find out the dentist called and wanted to know if I could do 9am instead. WHY YES ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿฅด

I go in the house and tell my husband I have to go in order to make it to the appointment on time.

8:49 Arrived on time because if you’re early, you’re on time. ๐Ÿ˜‰

8:49 til roughly Noon… I was being chiseled, chipped, drilled,plucked on ๐Ÿคช

Just call my ass a Royal cause I got another crown ๐Ÿ‘‘ ๐Ÿคฃ

But the tooth is good … right?!

12 ish I stop by a local pharmacy and drop off one a chafe escape that a friend purchased from me.

12:30 ish I get back home.

I tried to eat something before I had to leave to go to the doctor’s office for the medical procedure.

I ate Bush’s Country Baked Beans with Pepperidge Farm’s Kielbasa in it. Which I had cooked the day before. I only ate a little because I didn’t want to, One, put too much on my stomach prior to the procedure. Two, it hadn’t even been an hour since I left the dentist and didn’t want to mess anything up.

Today’s dental work after insurance cost us $520 ๐Ÿคจ But I won’t complain because it could always be worse. I am thankful we could afford to pay it and still afford to eat ๐Ÿคฃ right now.

Then… 2:39 we roll out the door.

It was myself, my husband, my son, and Saoirse. My husband took the day off as I had to have a “responsible driver” They don’t know my husband ๐Ÿคฃ

It’s all good. I was well taken care of. James will always make sure I’m good.

2:59 We pull up in the parking spot at the medical center.

We check in, fill out paperwork which asked when was the last time I ate, drank, etc.

After that it was turned in we wait….

Unfortunately… we waited and waited. It was after 4:30 last we looked and then soon after I was called back.

The anesthesiologist and one of the techs there today knows me pretty well ๐Ÿคฃ. The other tech just got introduced to my “personality” today ๐Ÿ˜‰

When the doc comes in the room and she sees it’s me she dropped to the floor and laughs ๐Ÿ˜….

She was thankful it was me but was also repeatedly apologizing for the wait.

I told her it’s all good but joked about the one visit where we did the PRP and we kept having issues and she repeatedly apologized then too ๐Ÿคฃ.

It’s funny because my dentist told the new dentist this morning, who is his replacement since he is retiring soon ๐Ÿ˜” that he was glad it was me because I am an “easy patient”.

He told her that I was a very sweet person and never gives them any issues.

Wonder what he was smoking ๐Ÿคฃ

Anyway… my doc this afternoon was thankful it was me too. I wore my “Fuck around and find out cap” ๐Ÿ˜

So after being stuck, plucked, picked, prodded, drilled, cemented and not even offered a drink I made my hubby take me to Sonic for a refreshing slush on our way home.

I am happily sitting on my numbed up ass with cup of coffee in hand and recliner is in the upright position… wait… that’s not how I wanted…wait… ahh fuck it. You know what I mean.
